My daddy, Earl Manning Moxley was a machine gunner during World War II. He was assigned for duty with Company K, 3rd Battalion, 16th infantry regiment, lst Infantry Division. He was a prisoner of war twice having escaped the first time and being held the second time in Germany. I have a picture of daddy with his unit but do not know any names of the men pictured. Daddy passed away Jan. 1992. He was and will forever by my HERO!
Thanks to all the military who have so graciously given so much to protect this country! May we never forget what others have done to defend our freedom.
