A Favorite quote of my former Captain Ed Gripkey. We of the 16th are brothers. I wish to welcome home each and everyone of you "He which hath no stomach to this fight let him depart. But we in it shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother. Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten." (W.Shakespeare)

Gentlemen of the mighty 16th Infantry Regimental Association I hope the Good Lord is still raining down his blessing on you and your families. I am looking for a Captain Ulf Heller who served in the 16th in Nam. He is the son of Naturalized German parent and has an old high school buddy in Richardson, TX who is looking for him. Any assistance you can render will be greatly appreciated. Hope to see you both in DC shortly. Wes wbgeary@excite.com

This is in response to the message posted last year from Mike London. I remember his brother, Cpt. London, and believe he was my CO in Charlie Company, Mike Platoon. I have a picture of him awarding medals as well. Would be happy to have you contact me to talk.

I recently had an in-law pass away, Benito Biggiani. I found out after that he served with the "Big Red One" in Europe during WWII. I had a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol and am putting together a shadow box for the family. The family doesn't have any photos of Benny while he was in the Army. I am looking for anyone who may have information and or photos that might be added to the shadow box.
Benny served with HQ Co 3rd Bn 16th Inf. Div. from 1 Jan. 1945 to 19 June 1946.
Thanks
